Do you guys have regularly-occuring heritage flights over there?  They're quite common here in the States, but I'm curious how it is on the other side of the pond.

Here in the UK it is quite a rare event, most recently at RAF Leuchars airshow we were to be treated to a few 'old and new' flyby's but the weather interveined and ruined the chance of it happening. The most recent occurance i can think of is when the Army Air Corps had the Blue Eagles team and their Historic flight flew in formation at Biggin Hill airshow. Also with the RN Sea Harrier being retired it has appeared with the RNHF a couple of times. But overall it is really quite rare.

Well living in Northern Ireland they are even rarer. In fact to my knowledge there's never been any. We get around 3 airshows a year but these would be very small compared to what you would see in the rest of the UK and the US.



Then just after the cease was announced here back in the 90's there was an open day at RAF Aldergrove.



So there you have - small and rare :(
