Whilst in Dublin on Friday, this flew overhead, presumably descending as it's contrail disappeared. Maybe descending towards Shannon. It looks as if it's a military DC-9 (C-9).

Fixed now :D It's a rubbish picture anyway. I think it's a C-9 Nightingale, although can't be sure. I can't find aircraft logs for Shannon to check up on it.

Interesting to see one of those-would be good to venture down to Shannon sometime;I have`nt been there since I was 6;so a very long time ago and I didn`t have a camera then. :)

It would be a lot handier if more airlines used underbelly markings. Identifying planes using Planefinder on the iPhone drains the battery bigtime.
