I might be a little early with 1990 but can't find a definitive reference.

Pre-1991 anyhow as I don't see any construction work on the M3 cross-harbour link.

Samson still in the original pale yellow!  I wonder when Goliath was repainted.

Edit: seems that Goliath received that coat of deep yellow around 1980 / 81 but Samson stayed pale until the late 1980s.
