Did it land?

2 jets went over the top here.

I think one Tonka and a Hawk. Blackcat 01 and Trojan 02 (Lossie GR4)

Both aircraft were RAF Tornado GR4`s-tail numbers 110 and 111: I couldn`t make out the full reg due to the flap position on landing, got some pics which aren`t great due to the poor light.

Both carried out missed approaches;arrived very slowly possibly due to some speed restriction at BFS;first one peeled of left and second came in a few minutes later and turned right before returning to Lossiemouth.

Heard them at 5.30pm yesterday close to Ballymoney. 50% cloud cover saw nothing but knew by the roar and speed it wasn't Ryanair approaching Derry

Yes my garden is about 1.5 miles from 25 threshold;I know I am lucky. ;D

Ringo,I think the regs you have are correct,it`s hard to see the reg when the flaps are extended for landing on a Tornado,I could only make out the numbers 849 and 850,and had not got around to checking them further.

I think that is a TIALD or pod under the belly.

Think that they might be 617 (Dambusters).

Definitely correct. They both have the 617 Sqn markings on the top of the fin, and just to the left of the RAF roundel
