AIRFRANCE A380 just passed over NI but i missed it was to far away from coleraine, just my luck a huge break in the clouds clear sky ahead and it didn't pass over my area DAMN AND BLAST. or stronger words if you like.

Passed almost directly overhead but the clouds managed to completely obscure my view.  :(  Caught it as the clouds moved away, but it was long gone by that stage...

I saw it myself actually after hearing an aircraft flying overhead whilst in the house and checking the Plane Finder ap on my mobile. Today the clouds were very low but fast moving, inbetween them I caught the AF A380 flying overhead minus a contrail. Whilst slow moving, it did look quite graceful  :)  Nice to see her in the flesh albeit from several miles away. Aviation never ceases to amaze me!  ;D

Thank's yep i'm glad i got the lens it has improved my shooting quite a lot. Now have a lot of practice and i think i'm doing ok. But any other bit's of advice are welcome to make sure i get the best quality of shot. And i love the A380 pic for my first catch it looks great. Once agin thanks.

I caught sight of it in the distance from Dungannon area but had no contrail today.
