Aviation News / B747 turning back
Last post by angry turnip - May 30, 2026, 17:48
1745 Noticed Air Atlanta Icelandic Boeing 747-400 TF-AMP as ABD7046 was heading NW then turned back, did a few orbits over North Donegal, now seems to be          heading back to Leige.

I don`t see an emergency squawk, but seems a little odd.

UPDATE: It returned to Leige.

I haven`t done one of these in ages, but I thought this was of interest. Not a seperated at birth, but a very look a like.
i noticed this when sorting out some old stamp albums I have ,mainly aircraft related, but also some other military things.

I think this is spooky actually.

From the photo it looks to be a Alpi Aviation Pioneer 300 Hawk G-SHMN, it`s a home build aircraft also known as a PNR3. Current owner is from Bangor.

Terrible quality video, good to hear no-one was hurt.
