Interesting article,the Dash-8-400's were becoming unpopular with passengers who preferred regional jets,but there must be orders to fill,if only to give an alternative to the ATR range.

The Sherpa or similar would be a useful addition to any armed forces,they are are a versatile aircraft.

I read an article, maybe about a year ago, that said DH were pitching the Sherpa design squarely at the developing world for humanitarian relief type ops.
