Nice shots, the A330 is Etihad, as for the 747 maybe Corsairfly?

I wouldn't have had a baldy about the 747 however Corsair does seem to be the best guess. The later is a 777-300ER

Most likely the APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) which is usually located around the tail.

Great shot`s guys!

Loads of cloud and rain about today so not much chance of contrail shots.

Saw something unusual today (well for me anyway). Was watching a jet fly over this morning and it didn't have any contrails. Then it started to trail contrails. This continued for another 20 seconds or so and then the contrails ended. I can only assume it was changing altitude.

Saw the same thing this afternoon it was a 747 it had no trails then just above my head contrails appeared then dissappeared just as quick. Maybe the air temp was the reason. at that altitude.

Actually saw a light aircraft 'buzz' the moon this afternoon while I was at Aldergrove. Of course I was too busy watching it to think of taking a picture

Took a heap of contrail pics on Saturday and got a bit crispy in the process

Most seemed be coming from West to East.

1:American Airlines B767 or 777
2:Air Canada A330
3:BA B747-400.
4:Air Berlin ? A330.
