Looks as if a T.2 Hawk has crashed in wales today.

The two pilots have ejected safely, and theres early reports that the aircraft hit a goose.

Edit:- it looks to be RAF BAE systems Hawk T.2 ZK032 (FH) as VYT15 that crashed.

Almost certainly an engine failure of some kind, good to hear both pilots ejected,no serious injuries reported as yet.
Could be a birdstrike,but I didn`t see any birds in the video,I think it may have been a compressor stall.

A new video has emerged of the Hawk T2 as it begins it`s takeoff roll, there is a fire which seems to be just behind the rear cockpit. This is where the APU is located on the Hawk of all variants.

Looks like all T1s and T2s have paused operations due to the crash.

Glad no one was hurt. The aircraft got very close to a house it looks like
