That's the first time my son gary has seen a face on the moon. he was quite surprised.

Here are 2 shot of the moon from last night
i have recieved a software program called PHOTOZOOM pro 2.0 so i have zoomed into one of the pictures so it looks very good.
picture is DSC01066(3)
also made this one bigger.

Hi guys just took these picture's of the moon tonight i was using a different setting and would like to know what you think thanks.
1) is normal.
2) is cropped tight no photo enhancement.
3) is cropped with small enhacement.
4) is cropped with contrast setting.

To be honest I prefer #2 - with no enhancements. Have you applied any sharpening to any of them?

Seeing as its a really clear night tonight i tried a Moon shot.... Not the best but im quiet happy with it as it was hard to keep the camera steady with the freezing hands...

I need to get a good camera... Some gr8 views from my house of aircraft passing across moon this evening on approach to runway 35. Thought one of them had a BA tail!?!?
