Congratulations on catching those AT!  A rather sparse day due to the northerly tracks.

A bit grotty through high-ISO, caught this Emirates B77W A6-ENL westbound in the last glow of the set Sun.

Busy man AT!  Lovely shots.

Today is a total haze-out over Ards.  Really frustrating.

Don`t think you will have missed too much anyway;I have only had 5 OTT today, and only 2 where close enough for any sort of decent shots.

Lovely pink trail!  Well shot.

As I sit in Ards at my desk facing west I can see BAW7TG's pink trail as he heads westward over Shannon Galway.  Amazing how far one can see!

Here's a shot from 'the other side' compared to String, it's rather blurry from the slow shutter but has an unusual Sunset hue.

What a rubbish cloudy day.

I caught this UAL B764 above the clouds 'threading the needle' through a 747's contrail.

Other than that I mainly sulked.  And did that 'work' thing.

Very good Steve - unfortunately they were in the Sun-glare haze from Ards.

Ever wondered how a B748 differs from a B744?  DLH's B744 D-ABTF overlaid on D-ABYF.  Both this afternoon, respectively to Denver and Mexico City.

Rubbish day, thick mucky haze and then rain squalls.

Caught this BAW 747, G-BNLT, at distance making five contrails.  Flushing the galley for arrival?

09:12 in the morning and the Sun had barely cleared the horizon  :-\

Just a thought - has anyone with a 6D / 7D or that ilk of camera tried to make a video of an OTT?  Would likely require tripod mounting but would be interesting.

Aww casper!  Well you didn't miss much today, cloudy and mucky.

But good old FDX36 showed-up after the clouds had departed; eastbound at 16:36, after Sunset, reflecting the Sun's disk.

I think I saw that OTT  my work in Ballinderry-time is about right 1630ish,tracked right across Lough Neagh just north of Portmore Lough;I stood and watched thinking it would make a good shot.

I had a 7D but changed to Nikon D7100,never tried video on any of my DSLR`s.

Not a lot from Ards today, same pattern as the rest of the week so far; early haze turning to whispy cloud and then solidifying.

United's N651UA in the old blue livery crossing under a pretty contrail left by a Viking A321 a few minutess earlier, 2000 ft higher.

Not much light in the sky these days.  Here's todays gloomy dawn shot.

Delta's N814NW running in the wake of N855NW, both eastbound to Amsterdam at FL380 and FL400.

Pretty mucky haze today, but nice to see some variety over Ards!  Aeroflot's leased A332 VQ-BBF on service AFL150 to Havana.

Running 'silent' with ADS-B off.

Edit: ah, well done Steve!
